Time Passes Slowly is one of a handful of Dylan’s original songs which were recorded during the Self Portrait sessions. It was not included on the record. A later version of this song was included on Bob’s next record “New Morning”. This song was also later covered by Judy Collins.
“Time Passes Slowly intrigued me when I read the words Dylan chose. For me it conjured up a magical time where life was simpler and one could just sit back and enjoy the moments. While I know there are already many covers of this song, I felt it needed something more reflective as if from a high mountain top, peering out into the ether of memory from a life well lived.” – Mikail Graham
